Why I chose this work-

People sometimes ask why I chose to focus my practice on estate planning.

For me, the answer is personal.

Several years ago, my family walked through a long and difficult season as my mother battled cancer. Like many families facing illness, we focused on what mattered most in those moments—spending time together, supporting one another, and holding onto hope.

When she passed, our family experienced the deep grief that comes with losing someone you love.

But alongside that grief, life continued moving forward. There were decisions to make, responsibilities to manage, and practical matters that needed attention.

During that time, we realized that some things had not been fully planned or organized.

And like many families, we found ourselves trying to piece things together while also navigating loss.

That experience stayed with me.

It reminded me that estate planning is not really about documents. It is about the people we love and the lives that continue after we are gone.

A thoughtful plan helps families focus on healing and supporting one another, rather than trying to solve difficult legal or financial questions during an already emotional time.

That is one of the reasons I founded The Cole Firm, P.C.

My goal is to help individuals and families create plans that provide clarity, guidance, and reassurance for the people who matter most to them.

Because at its heart, estate planning is about preserving legacy and providing peace for the next generation.
